He's a litttle man:)

Carter is really going up so fast. I can't believe that he is turning one in two weeks. Its weird to think that this time last year I was still pregnant. I really can't believe how fast it goes by. The sad thing is not only is he growing up he looks like a little boy and not a baby.

Carter really likes to hang out like his dad. He watches Rob play the Xbox so now Carter will get the controller and turn it on and press the buttons while he is looking at the TV. Its pretty funny to watch :)

Snow Snow Snow

Today we went to a park in Calabasas, the city put on a little winter festival. It was really cool they made snow and had little hills that you could sled down. We didn't have a sled but Carter still got to play in the snow. It was pretty funny he didn't like to touch the snow but he didn't mind sitting in it. (I think he just liked all of the other kids that were around him. There was a ton of them.)

This is Carters first time with Santa, he loved him. I really thought that he would cry and not sit there by himself but instead he was really interested in him.

Christmas Tree

Setting up the Tree is one of my favorite things to do for getting ready for Christmas. Every year I put the lights on and Rob puts the Tinsel and then we split the ornaments and do half and half. Its really fun, we usually have a Christmas movie on or Christmas carols. For me its the best way to get in the Christmas mood. And after all the work to put it all together Carter wants to help take it apart.

This year is the first year that I have ever had to go to a tree lot and pick out a Christmas tree, usually we go and cut them down ourselves. So it was quite a change not to mention the price of a tree, when your use to buying a tree tag for 5 dollars then to pay the full price on a tree lot it is definitely different. And honestly not as fun! But oh well I guess that is what happens when you move away.

Even though we didn't cut down our tree we still had fun picking it out, the place were we got the tree had quite a setup so it was fun to look at. And believe it or not for LA they had a lot of trees to pick from so here is our tree.

Christmas is coming!!!

Well since Christmas is coming I went and got carter his first Christmas outfit. It was almost impossible to find one that fits. The one I got fits now but I doubt it will fit by Christmas. He is makes such a cute little santa bear :)

Thanksgiving!!!

We had fun on thanksgiving, we started the day off early. I ran a 5k, it was a run for the hungry. It was really cool, it was a good way to start off the day. After the race we went to La Canada (its in north LA) and had Thanksgiving there, then we went to San Diego to my sister-in-laws house Denise. Robs mom and brother came out it was really fun and relaxing. Except for black Friday, that was not relaxing. Me and Denise went to the midnight madness and then to Kohls. We finished shopping at 5:30 a.m. Then we had to go home because carter was sick. Well that was our Thanksgiving.

Sunday Night Football

This weekend we went down to San Diego, I ran a race on sunday and then we went to the Chargers and Colts game that night. It was the best game ever. Since it was Veterans day the had so jets go over the stadium before the game started. It vibrated the seats it was really cool. We had really good seats we saw everything that happened on the field. And there was a couple of fights in the bleachers too. It was raining thought the whole game but is was still way fun. We had ponchos so for the most part we stayed dry.

Cool Toys

I got Carter a new toy that he can walk behind or ride on. He loves it, its a lion and it roars and sings.

trick of treat

Carter was a tired little monkey after trick of treating. I was a long day for him. He loved it though! When we went to the doors he would hold one of the handles of his bag and I would hold the other one. We didn't go to very many houses because I knew Carter wasn't going to eat the candy, and I knew I would. But it was pretty fun just going out to a couple of houses.

Tired Baby

Carter has had a couple of really long days it finally took a toll on him. I was making him lunch and I looked over because I didn't hear him and well here he is.

jack-o-laterns

Here are all of the jack-o-laterns, they turned out so good. It was so fun getting all of our friends together. Carter had fun but he had to go to bed early, so we will carve his later.

Pumpkins

Last night we had a pumpkin carving contest with all of our friends. It was so fun, the place were we got the pumpkins was so cool. They had a little festival it had games and some rides. They also had a haunted house and a corn maze. They had so many pumpkins. I couldn't resist taking pictures of Carter.

We picked up all of the pumpkins for everyone. Good thing we brought our Tahoe :)

First Ears :)

I forgot to post the picture of Carter in his first pair of Mickey Ears. The funny thing about Carter was he really didn't like the characters the only ones he really liked was Pluto and Mickey they were the only ones he didn't start to cry.

diSneYlaNd

We took Carter to DisneyLand for the first time yesterday. We had so much fun, it was a blast. The wind was blowing so hard but other than that is a perfect day.

They had the whole place decked out in Halloween, pumpkins, orange and yellow everywhere. Its pretty amazing how much they do just for Halloween. We even saw a couple of characters dress up, Goofy was a skeleton it was pretty funny.

We only went on a couple of rides the first ride we went on was Peter Pans Flight. Carter liked it untill the end, it stopped pretty fast and it scared him. I thought he did amazingly well. The whole time we were there he only cried a couple of times. His favorite part was the parades. We went to both of the parades. The one at California Adventure and at DisneyLand.

Learning to eat!

Last night I got some big spoons and we decided to let Carter try to feed himself. It was so cute, but it was such a mess. I swear I have no clue what they put in the baby food because it stains everything. Carter was so proud of himself. Its amazing how quick they learn stuff.
