Camping In Beaver Mountains

Finally after about 7 years of marriage Rob and I finally made it up to Beaver with my family to go camping. We had a blast between fishing, 4wheelers, and playing in the dirt. Bellas sad she had dirt in her eyes.

Rob carved this knife for Carter. He thought it was pretty cool.

This is what Bella did the entire time she was so dirty. But she had a blast.

Carter had his first driving lesson with Papa. You can get away with a lot in the mountains. Look how happy he is. Rob on the drive home.

Whats new

Okay so I know I haven't posted in a while and there has been a lot of new changes. First of all we moved (again), but this time we moved back to St. George. We are currently living with my parents and it is so awesome that they took us in. Carter is having a blast he loves having all of his cousins and Papa and Grandma so close. Rob is commuting to LA 4 days a week. I know sucky but that is what is having to happen right now. So again it is so nice to be here with so much family so close because it keeps Carter's and my mind off the fact that Rob won't be home for dinner.
So that is what is going on in our lives. I know I a started by saying first and the really is only one major change but it really seems like a lot for us. I will get better on posting pictures. Oh and Bella is getting so big so fast she has 2 teeth almost 3 and is standing up and walking around furniture. She is going to learn how to run instead of walk just to get away from her brother :).

So the other day we were in the car getting ready to leave and Carter was in his car seat and Rob was standing by him. This is what the conversation was.

Rob: "Carter I am going to eat you,"
Carter: "NO"
Rob went and put Carters had is his mouth.
Carter: "No, mouths disgusting."

It was so funny and he was really upset that Rob went to eat his had. But as nice parent while he was crying we were both laughing so hard. Toddlers say the funniest things.

So today was a day of first at our house. Bella got her first tooth and her first pony tail. I love the fact that I can put her hair in a pony. I know its really small but at least I can do it.

What the Heck

So yesterday we went to the beach, it was freezing but after we got home I gave the kids a bath and I was getting dinner ready. That's when I felt Carter he had a fever of 100.7 so not to bad pretty low grade, so I gave him Motrin and we ate dinner and then I put him to bed. Didn't think anything about it. I thought that he just had a small cold or something.
Then this morning he woke up and came into our room. He came into bed and I saw a couple of spots on his face. Again didn't think anything about it. Then we were at the table eating breakfast and I lifted his shirt. His hole belly and back were full of spots. The first thing that came into mind was Chicken Pox's. I was kind of nervous, since I was with my friends and all of their kids. I really didn't want to be the one to cause a huge outbreak of chicken pox's. So I called the doctor they had us come in. It was really funny Cause when we got there we had to go in the back entrance and then they rushed us to the room, then we had to change rooms and they rushed us to the other room. So the doc comes in, and I show him all of the splotches and they are not chicken pox's but he has hives all over his body. By this point they have spread even more. This is what he looks like.

So they say he has some sort of infection. Its not a allergic reaction because of the fever so we have to start antibiotics and benadryl. He is one sad little man, he keeps itching and I tell him not to and he says all better. I feel so bad for him, I wish I could take it all away for him. The really sad thing is that they look so much worse in person the pictures tone down it a ton.

Well yesterday I was at my friends Noel's and Carter was playing in the back yard and was pushing a train and the front of the train caught the edge. And this is what happened

Doesn't this look like it hurts. I was really surprised he really didn't even cry that long. But it kind of did make me a little nervous because on the way home he totally passed out but he was just tired. I really think he is a quick healer because it looked so much worse last night.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a blast this last weekend. Mike and Becca came out from St. George and we went to the beach. It was pretty cold but we still had a lot of fun. This is the hole Mike dug.

We went to St. George for Easter it was so fun we got to see our friends and family that we haven't seen for a really long time. We colored eggs had family pictures and on Easter we found our Easter baskets and the eggs that the Easter bunny hide. It was really fun, Carter was old enough this year to kind of get it.

Pismo Beach

We went to Pismo Beach. It was a blast out camp site was right on the beach you could look out of the trailer and there was the ocean it was awesome. The weather was really great we played in the sand and in the ocean one day. Here are some pictures.

We went to the Ventura Pier and went fishing with some friends it was a blast. Carter thought the pier was awesome. He even touched one of the fish that they caught. The weather was really cold but just bundled up and had a blast.

So on Wednesday we went to the beach with some friends it was seriously the prefect day. It was bright and sunny an there was no wind which makes it so much nicer. Carter loved playing in the sand. Every once in a while he would come up to me and say my eyes, my eyes it was pretty cute.

We went to the park with our friends and its pretty cool because the park has two different areas one for little kids and for big kids. The one for big kids has really long slides, and pretty high things to climb up and Carter had no problem climbing up the ladder thing and down the other metal thing, but he didn't want to go down the slide by him self. A couple of weekends ago we went down to San Diego and hung out with my in laws it was really fun. Robs brother came with his triplets and his sister and her 2 girls and his mom came. It was really good to see everyone. and for everyone to meet Bella. My poor sweet little girl is sick again. It sucks so bad, Carter was 3 months before he got sick for the first time but since there is another toddler in our house and he love his little sister she has gotten sick once at 2 weeks and again on Sunday it is so sad I wish I could do something to help her because she is miserable. 2 year Check up

Well today we took Carter for his 2 year check up. He did so good he suck a ham he loves to talk and play in the office and he loves our doctor until he had to get the flu shot. It was sad he was pretty funny though they gave him the shot and he screamed ow (I have no clue how to spell that an this what spell check said) and then started to cry.

So a couple of weeks ago, Rob was taking a bath with Carter when Rob was under the water Carter snuck out of the tub. We had a lot of fun over Christmas, it was a lot different then it has. This was the first year that we weren't with our families. So is stead of going over to my moms for Christmas Eve we had dinner with our friend out here. Then we just did our own thing, it was very fun and relaxing.

Well this is late but on Friday it was Carter's 2nd birthday. We had a lot of fun we just hung out with our family and then later on that night we had a couple of our friends over and had cake and Ice cream. We are going to have a birthday party later on in the month when my parents and brother our out here.

This was at lunch Carter was so happy to hang out with mom and dad and to get out of the house.

I know the cake isn't that pretty but he is two and doesn't really care.

It took him a little while to blow out the candle, we figured out that Carter doesn't really like it when people sing Happy Birthday to him.

Carter wasn't the only one excited to get the Playdoh set.

We had Isabella Marie on Friday December 12 2008 at 11:25 am. She weighed 7lb 7oz and 20 inches long. Everything went as smooth as possible and she is absolutely perfect, here are some pictures.

Okay I know it has been a while since I did and update so here it is. Carter is getting so big, he has started talking a ton and putting words together. It is really cute the way he says certain things, he has this little white bear that he carries around with him. Its cute because if he doesn't have it he will walk around saying where's my bear ( it really is the cutest thing the way his voice sounds).
We had a great Thanksgiving, we stayed out here so we weren't with any family but we were with friends. Me and Rob went and did the blackfriday shopping, it was fun. Very crazy but fun we got a lot of good deals.
So know we have our Christmas decorations up and we are just waiting to have the baby, only 10 days left kind of crazy we are really nervous but everything will work out. We are just hoping that she doesn't come before the 12.

St. George

This last weekend we went to St. George and had a lot of fun. My mom had a Halloween party, I didn't get any pictures of the party but I did get some really cute ones of my Nieces they are all so cute and all growing so fast. The oldest one Rylie just turned 8 it is kind of crazy how fast time flies. And Kailan is growing so fast it is like she is a completely different baby but here are some pictures of them all.

Taya loves her stroller and when we were out side Lisa had Kailans stroller and carseat out back and Taya climbed right up in it and just hung out it was really cute. These next pictures are really funny Rob got a RedRyder for his birthday so Marc got out a couple of his bebe guns and they were shooting a bottle from my parents back yard. We all had a turn to shoot.

Halloween Fun

So the other night we had our friend come over and we decorated sugar cookies and had dinner it was really fun. No pumpkin carving but the sugar cookies were cut out in Halloween shapes.

Carter loved the icing it was pretty cute Rob was on the ground helping him and Carter decided that icing himself would be a better idea than icing the cookie.

On Saturday we went to Filmore (California) and we took a train to a pumpkin patch and hung out for a couple of hours. I was so much fun, it rain the entire time so Carter and our friends little boys were soaked but they loved it.

My Sister

So I will have to brag about my sister for a minute. This last weekend she ran the St. George Marathon and finished. I would just like to say that I am soooooo proud of her, that is an amazing accomplishment. For those of you who don't know a marathon is 26.2 miles. Yes that is an amazing thing to do. Kellie congratulation I am really happy for you I know you have been wanting to do this for a really long time and I am happy you finally did.

Car seat

So I got my car seat for Bella. I can't believe how soon she will be here these next couple of months are going to fly by. Its kind of funny because my stomach is growing but it hasn't really seemed real until we start actually getting the car seat and I started working on her blanket. We are really excited we can't wait. Well we can we aren't ready for her yet she needs to grow quite a bit before she comes out. And we are having fun with Carter, well some times when he is not throwing his big fits. But I guess that is what you get when you have a 22 month old :-). We love him anyways. He is just getting us ready for a crying newborn.

Carter and Isabella are going to be sharing a room so I decided that I would do a girl jungle theme for her, I found one that I really liked but I didn't want to pay the money for it. Okay so Carter is growing up way to fast, it makes me really sad when I think about it but I know it's going to happen but sometimes I wish it didn't happen so fast. I went through all of his clothes and I swear he has grown out of almost all of them. It was getting pretty sad at night when we went to go put on his PJ's, it was like they were all 2 sizes to small. So this weekend we broke down and went and bought him a whole new wardrobe. He looks so cute in his new clothes but he definitely looks like a boy and not a baby. This weekend we also make his bed into a big boy bed. Sad my baby is growing up so fast. :-(

Last Saturday we went to a pregnant BBQ. Our friend had a BBQ for all of his friends that are pregnant. It was really fun we had it at our pool and we all went swimming. Carter swam the entire time so when we got home he was beet. I got him out of the bath and he sat on the couch and was out in seconds. It was all most a joke how fast he feel a sleep. The funny thing about the BBQ is the other two pregnant girls had their babies in the next 4 days. So now I am the only one left, but my time will come faster than I think it will.

20 Weeks

The worst week ever!!!!!

Sorry there is alot to read but I had to clue you all in.

There is really no other way to say this, last week was a week from hell. It all started the Thursay night before we went camping. We went to the ER at 2 o'clock in the morning because I was having a Kidney stone. Didn't know it at the time! Well so that is were we found out that we were having a girl. that was the only good thing that came out of that visit.

So we went camping everything was fine except Carter got sick the first night we got there (probably from being in the ER the night before). We got home Sunday everything was good I passed one pretty big stone so we thought it was all over, then I passed another one later on that night. Monday I took Carter to the Doctor, and of course the say nothing is wrong he should be getting better in a couple of days. Tuesday morning I wake up with the chills, fever, sore throat, Stuffy nose, tons of back pain, and passed two more stones. Fun huh :). So I went to the Doctor and they told me I was probably having another stone and strep throat. So luckily Rob came home and took care of us. Wednesday I went to the Urologist, found out I have 2 stones in my right and 2 stones in my left kidney. (Hopefully they stay there until after I have the baby) Wednesday night at 2 in the morning Carter is up screaming until 8 in the morning. So we took him to the Doctor come to find out that he has 2 full blown ear infections pretty bad ones says the Doctor.

So Friday I had to go to the perinatologist and have an ultrasound for the baby we found out that she is indeed a girl and she is measuring perfect and she look absolutely healthy. ( Yeah the hell is over.)

This is Carter Sunday night we was so tired, he was climbing all over me and then he stopped for a minute and this is what happened when he stopped. Kind of sad but pretty funny.

Last weekend we camping with our friends Andrew and Kira and their two boys. We had so much fun. We did dutch oven potatoes and chicken and the best was dutch oven Cobbler. Carter liked to chicken the best. Most everyone else loved the Cobbler. Tony loved all of the food he kept saying this was the best food ever. (Rob and Carter learning how to use the Dutch Ovens.)

St. George

Me and Carter ditched Rob and went to St. George for two weeks, it was really fun but it also was way to long. But my sister in law was about to have her baby and I really wanted to see her before I went home and plus we had a baby shower for her.

It was really fun hangout with my sister and her kids and with every one else in my family. We did alot of swimming. Carter is a little fish its really fun to watch him swim.

The last night before we came home there was a pretty good size rain storm and it was still warm outside so we let the kids play in the rain for awhile it was really fun to watch. Carter was to sure about it at first but the he thought it was pretty cool. Taya on the other hand loved it, she is one funny little girl.

Oklahoma Crew

Well in June my cousin DeeAnn and her family came down to Newport and so me and Carter went down to go hang out with them. They just had a little boy he is about 9 months old and his name is Joshua his is super cute. And I also got to meet Matts wife she is very nice. It was really good seeing you guy hope we can do it again sooner than later.

The Girls it was so fun getting together with all of the friends especially since we haven't seen everyone is such a long time. I just wish James and Candice could of came. But i was really happy to see Erik and Kimberly new addition Hailey. The Boys I know all the boys had so much fun together, I wish we could do this more often.

We are having another baby most of you know already but Yeah we are really excited. I am due December 23. Merry Christmas. We just found out this last Friday that we are having a little girl. I have a real oltrasound on this friday that I can post some pictures.

Okay I am going to try this but I don't know how it is going to turn out.

I have eaten chinese food 3 times in the last week.
I run a little over 3 miles at least twice a week
I only have 3 pairs of jeans
My brother and sister-in-law just had 3 babies

My husband was 3 grades a head of me in school

New Couch

Okay for those of you who have toddlers you will all think this is funny. So last night Carter disappeared for a couple of minutes, so of course I figured he was in my room. And of course he was in my bathroom, everything looked in order the toilet seat was down (because he always tries to get into it). I picked him up and went in to the living room. Well a couple of minutes later Rob went to go the bathroom and this is what he found. :)

Carter was so proud of himself, I have to admit I was laughing so hard I could barely stand. Luckily we had some rubber glove that I had to use to empty the toilet. The joys of being a mom :) I really do love it.

Easter Weekend

This year was such a fun Easter. Part of my family came out and we hung out, we went to the beach on Friday and Marc and Rob went surfing. I was really impressed they both go up.

Carter had so much fun with my mom and dad on the beach until we walked him down to the water and he really did not like it. And look how cute Lisa is it really is not fair how cute she is I am jealous :).

On Saturday we all went down to Newport Beach to see my cousin from Oklahoma Lisa and her family. It was so fun to see them I haven't seen her for like six or seven years. They all looked so good her kids are so big.

Well it has been an exciting couple of weeks. We moved AGAIN!! This time it was a good move, we no longer have a room mate it is a really good thing. But as you all know moving is not a fun thing, thankfully my Parents came out and helped us move. It actually went really quick, we got the apartment on wednesday and by late saturday afternoon we all moved in. Me and Rob moved some stuff but the most of it was moved saturday morning. I really is hard to move with a one year old and a dog. Thank you again to my mom and dad you really don't even know how much you helped.

Moving is hard on every one. This was on Friday after one trip to the new house.

Grandma, Papa, and Carter were so tired on Saturday after all the moving. Cute huh :)

Well have lived in California for almost 14 months and this is the first time and place that we have hung stuff on the wall. Its nice it actually fills like home.

This is Rob's baby, when we found out that we were getting the smaller apartment we decided to sell our couches and T.V. and this is what Rob got. ( Sorry dad he had to out do you by 2 inches.)

Well today we were bored so I decided to take some pictures of Carter. I cut his hair again and I thought he looked so cute so here are some cute pictures of him.

Carter and Brinkley are best buds they play so good together. It really nice it kind of gives me a break.

Every time Carter is up walking he runs to the love sac and dives on it. Its pretty funny.

He loves this bike it was definately a great purchase by Papa and Grandma.

His poor teeth are making him so miserable I can't wait until they finally come all the way in they are about half way there. He is drolling so much.

Well I don't know if you would say that Carter is a offically walking be cause he does do it every where. But he definately can walk, he is just kind of lazy. Its pretty funny because he kept diving in to the pillow, and the other day we were at Robs work and there was a big stuffed dog and Carter kept body slamming it. He does it to Brinkley all the time too. He is definately a boy.

Carter loves pizza. Last night we went to Chili's (I know weird). It was weird we have only been to Chili's a couple times since Rob quit. But anyways we got Carter a pizza and he loved it as you can tell by the pictures. It was pretty funny, he shoved it so hard in his mouth he shoved it up his nose. It was really funny he had pizza boggies. Sorry the picture quality isn't that great we used a phone.

Carter got a bike for his birthday from his Grandma and Papa. He loves it, he thinks he is pretty hot stuff getting on and off the bike. He LOVES it when we push him around on it. It will be nice when the weather gets a little better and we can go on walks with him on his bike.

First Hair Cut

Well today Carter got his first hair cut. He finally got enough hair that I could cut it. You really can't tell but I think it looks better. He did so good, he actually let me do the whole hair cut without even crying. And for him that is pretty amazing because he is getting his molars and his is really grumpy.

This was Carters first time on a swing set. He really liked it at first but then he started to act like he was getting motion sickness and wanted to get down. It was really cute, he was laughing so hard, when we first started pushing him but then his smile slowly became a look of terror.

Well when we were in St. George we wanted to have a birthday party for Carter with all of our friends and family. So we had it a little early (only by a couple of days). It was fun we had it at my parents new house and my dad counted the adults at one point and he counted at least 28 so Carter had a good turn out. And again thank everyone one for coming it really means a lot to us.

Well this was Carter's first Christmas, we had a blast we went to St. George and we stayed a my parents house. I was so nice to see family and all of our friends. When me and Rob first got married we started a tradition with getting us new pajamas on Christmas Eve. This year was fun I got Rob footed pajamas the were awsomw and the funny thing is that Rob got me the same ones.

I guess we were all really good this year because we were all spoiled. Santa did a really good job. I got a camera and Rob got a surf board. It was really fun watching Carter open his presents he really wasn't all that in to it. He was really tired, but Santa put Lil Crunches in his stocking and he went to town. Honestly he ate the almost the whole container while we were opening presents. This was right after Santa came to our house.

Carter is really going up so fast. I can't believe that he is turning one in two weeks. Its weird to think that this time last year I was still pregnant. I really can't believe how fast it goes by. The sad thing is not only is he growing up he looks like a little boy and not a baby.

Carter really likes to hang out like his dad. He watches Rob play the Xbox so now Carter will get the controller and turn it on and press the buttons while he is looking at the TV. Its pretty funny to watch :)

Snow Snow Snow

Today we went to a park in Calabasas, the city put on a little winter festival. It was really cool they made snow and had little hills that you could sled down. We didn't have a sled but Carter still got to play in the snow. It was pretty funny he didn't like to touch the snow but he didn't mind sitting in it. (I think he just liked all of the other kids that were around him. There was a ton of them.)

Christmas Tree

Setting up the Tree is one of my favorite things to do for getting ready for Christmas. Every year I put the lights on and Rob puts the Tinsel and then we split the ornaments and do half and half. Its really fun, we usually have a Christmas movie on or Christmas carols. For me its the best way to get in the Christmas mood. And after all the work to put it all together Carter wants to help take it apart.

This year is the first year that I have ever had to go to a tree lot and pick out a Christmas tree, usually we go and cut them down ourselves. So it was quite a change not to mention the price of a tree, when your use to buying a tree tag for 5 dollars then to pay the full price on a tree lot it is definitely different. And honestly not as fun! But oh well I guess that is what happens when you move away.

Even though we didn't cut down our tree we still had fun picking it out, the place were we got the tree had quite a setup so it was fun to look at. And believe it or not for LA they had a lot of trees to pick from so here is our tree.

Well since Christmas is coming I went and got carter his first Christmas outfit. It was almost impossible to find one that fits. The one I got fits now but I doubt it will fit by Christmas. He is makes such a cute little santa bear :)

Thanksgiving!!!

We had fun on thanksgiving, we started the day off early. I ran a 5k, it was a run for the hungry. It was really cool, it was a good way to start off the day. After the race we went to La Canada (its in north LA) and had Thanksgiving there, then we went to San Diego to my sister-in-laws house Denise. Robs mom and brother came out it was really fun and relaxing. Except for black Friday, that was not relaxing. Me and Denise went to the midnight madness and then to Kohls. We finished shopping at 5:30 a.m. Then we had to go home because carter was sick. Well that was our Thanksgiving.

Sunday Night Football

This weekend we went down to San Diego, I ran a race on sunday and then we went to the Chargers and Colts game that night. It was the best game ever. Since it was Veterans day the had so jets go over the stadium before the game started. It vibrated the seats it was really cool. We had really good seats we saw everything that happened on the field. And there was a couple of fights in the bleachers too. It was raining thought the whole game but is was still way fun. We had ponchos so for the most part we stayed dry.
